FAQs
What should I do when the battery can't hold a charging?
a. Firstly, please make sure that the battery is not connected to any load (controller, inverter and other household appliances)
b. If you have a multimeter, please set the multimeter to DC voltage, and then use the it to test the voltage of the battery;
c. If the battery voltage is between 12-13.6V, it means there is nothing wrong with the battery. You can use it with confidence;
d. If the battery voltage is between 9-12V, it means that the battery is completely dead and needs to be charged in time;
e. If the battery voltage is below 9V, it means that the BMS of the battery has turned on the low voltage protection function. You just need to charge and activate the BMS of the battery and the battery will resume normal operation.
How to activate the battery's BMS?
a. Please use 18V solar photovoltaic panels to directly charge the battery. When the battery voltage reaches about 11V, the battery's BMS will be activated.(You can also use 12V/24V/36V solar photovoltaic panels to activate the battery's BMS.)
b. Please use the 14.2V - 14.6V lifepo4 battery special charger(with 0V charging function)to charge the battery. When the battery voltage reaches about 11V, the battery's BMS can also be activated.
c. If you have another same battery, and the voltage of this battery is higher than 13V, you can connect the two batteries in parallel. When the battery with low voltage reaches about 11V, the battery's BMS is also activated.
How to judge whether the 12.8V lifepo4 battery is fully charged?
a. When you remove the battery charging unit, the battery voltage will slowly decrease. Also, please leave the battery for about 12 hours.
b. When the battery is not connected to any load (controller, inverter and other household appliances), if the voltage is 13.4~13.8V, it means the battery is fully charged.
c. When the battery is connected to the load(controller, inverter and other household appliances), the battery voltage will have a voltage drop of about 0.5V, and the magnitude of the voltage drop is determined by the size of the load.
The specific reasons are as follows: For example, If this battery is connected to controllers, inverters and other household appliances, its voltage will drop by around 0.7V. The battery voltage may be 13.0- 13.2V,at which point the battery is also fully charged. How much the voltage will drop depends on the number of Watts connected to the battery load

If you need to use the battery in series, follow the steps below.
Step 1. Fully charge each battery separately.
Step 2. Connect the fully charged batteries in parallel and place them for more than 2 hours.
Step 3. Disconnect all batteries and measure the voltage of each battery separately. If they are equal, connect them in series. Otherwise, repeat steps 1 and 2.
The above steps can improve the discharge performance and service life of the battery after series connection. Parallel connection can be directly connected without any operation.
